Hello Jen's Angels! Happy new year everyone. Thank you so much for all your love and support you have shown me in establishing the HML Foundation. As promised, I am starting this blog to share my reading passion and vision for the HML Foundation as well as share any insights and tips I may come across that I think may be usefull to all of your my lovelies.
This blog in particular, (unlike the idiotsonheels.wordpress.com meant for my professional PR insights) is going to be light hearted and more of my heart to heart candid conversations with you my readers. In this blog its where I will express myself honestly and truthfully without any goodbdy gook PR lingo (lol). So take your place that I've saved just for you, relax and enjoy to lounge with me. This is my way of giving you some FREE digital reads; to help you keep up with our HML ultimate call to action to #KeepZambiaReading.
If you feel inspired or motivated with what you read, do feel free to share away:-) By now you would have guessed I love writing and reading! What you perhaps didn't know is I have been writing since I was a teenager...I wrote several manucripts which I unfortunately lost as we hard no access to computers back in the day. Howevver, I do now have a 365 page manuscript which I wrote in 2003 - 2010. Unfortunately it has a lot of 'Trump' inspired content in it - with him being POTUS now am not sure how it will fly against Fire and Fury at mo! So shelved it stays until, well, perhaps never, sadly... Also I bet you didn't know that the first novel I read was entitled I'll take Manhattan. This book pretty much was subsconciously responsible for the path I've weaved for myself so far so good. Including moving to to New York City in1999, partying in Manhattan, my love for Real estate, establishing my own magazine Je t'aime Bridal and oh, well - the here and now. This is the power of dropping ink to make a million think, literally. So fo starters here is the synopsis of my fave read:

"Here is Judith Krantz's greatest triumph-- "I'll Take Manhattan." "In the high-stakes world of magazine publishing, she weaves a dazzling tale of love and betrayal, and creates her most joyous character--sensational Maxi, an uninhibited woman who unexpectedly discovers that her talent for life is matched by a hunger to succeed.Gorgeous, flamboyant Maxi Amberville is twenty-nine and has already discarded three husbands on two continents. Life is a stream of endless pleasure in her lavish Trump Tower apartment--until her widowed mother married a man who plots to sell her father's magazine empire. And Maxi turns her incredible lust for living into a passionate quest for power.Maxi takes over the small weekly "Buttons And Bows." She gathers her hot-blooded ex-husband, sassy daughter and a coterie of the powerful elite. Then, risking all, Maxi creates B&B --the glitziest, ritziest, most successful fashion magazine in the country. Here is a dramatic, sizzling story of love, family, ambition and one unforgettable woman who gives life and love everything she has." [Excerpt from Amazon, Accsesed 6/11/18]
